Suction Sump

A Fountain Suction Sump is made of heavy-duty fiberglass and is sand coated. Many are used in conjunction with an Anti-Vortex Plate, as seen below. The vortext plate prevents water from vortexting around the sump and potentially allowing air to pass through to the pump’s impeller. All Suction Sumps may be custom fabricated to meet job specifications and sizes, and will arrive on-site ready for installation.
