Madison Square Park

The fountain in Madison Square Park was originally dedicated in 1867, replaced by a reproduction in the late 1990s, and finally renovated and updated with a more historically accurate reproduction in 2015. The 2015 renovation was developed in order to correct several corrosion, water spray, and plumbing issues that were not previously addressed. The fountain sits in the courtyard to the original Shake Shack, where the equipment is housed for the fountain.

Delta Fountains provided the equipment and mechanical instruction necessary to combat mechanical corrosion and create a higher spray, which more accurately reflects the original fountain’s spray.
